The Deckers moved to Centerville in June 2018 and they love serving the people in this area. John is a native of southeast Texas and Mandy grew up in the Cincinnati area. They met as freshmen at Baptist Bible College in Springﬁeld, Missouri where John was studying pastoral ministry and Mandy was studying elementary education. John and his family love hunting, ﬁshing, canoeing/kayaking, archery, basketball and pretty much anything outside.

John earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baptist Bible College in 2003 and has served in ministry ever since. He also served for many years as a police ofﬁcer in Springﬁeld, Missouri. God used that time to instill in him a passion and drive to see the lives of people changed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. John served as Campus Pastor of Baptist Bible College prior to moving to Ohio. During that time he traveled the country speaking at youth camps, churches and conferences where he saw hundreds of people give their lives to Christ. He says that it never gets old seeing lives changed, marriages restored and renewed hope in the lives of others.

John and Mandy were married in 2000 and they love doing ministry together while sharing in the joys of raising their three amazing boys: Johnathan, Daniel and Mason.

The Brooks married and moved to Miamisburg/Centerville to start their family in January 2018. Caleb grew up in the Cincinnati area, and Cece is from the Miamisburg/ Centerville area. They met in their youth ministry at a church in Cincinnati, where they served as youth leaders for a few years after they graduated high school. Caleb studied at Liberty University, where he attained his bachelor's in Biblical and Educational Studies. He served in the National Guard for six years and became a certified electrician through an apprenticeship with Kings Electric. Cece studied nursing at Kettering College, passionately helping new mothers through her work as a doula and a maternity nurse.

Caleb has always had a passion for youth ministry and coming alongside students to help them collide with God and discover how the Gospel plays a role in their lives. Caleb and Cece started as youth leaders with MorningStar in 2019, together they have loved seeing students come to know Jesus and helping them learn how to go back into their communities and schools to tell their peers about Jesus’ love. Together, they have served in youth ministry for more than eight years.

Caleb and Cece have devoted their lives and marriage to listening to God and saying yes to wherever He may lead them. As a family they love exploring and traveling when they can and are always up for new adventures. They have two sweet, energetic boys, Cohen & Casen, and a cute-as-can-be girl, Lylah.
